New Jubilee SG Jeremiah Kioni leads campaigns in Othaya
The recently re-launched Jubilee Party has
continued with its popularization campaigns in Nyeri County.
The team, led by its new Secretary General
Jeremiah Kioni, the Director of Elections Kanini Kega, former Gatanga MP Peter
Kenneth and a host of other legislators were in Othaya on Monday where leaders
maintained that the ruling party is alive and well and it will be back at the
helm of the regional and national politics.
The leaders used the meeting to popularize
the Azimio la Umoja movement.
The Ndaragwa legislator made light the forays
made by Deputy President William Ruto into the vote-rich region, saying the
Kenya Kwanza team is now in panic mode.
kwamba matusi ilituletea shida,” he said.
At the same meeting, former Gatanga lawmaker Peter
Kenneth who has been fronted as a possible Raila Odinga running mate, made a
case for Odinga, asking the region to back President Uhuru Kenyatta's effort of
bringing the country together.
Odinga,” he said.
The leaders promised to hold rallies with
Odinga in Central Kenya in the near future.
