The implementation of the new National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) rates has been thrown into doubt yet again. This is after the trade union congress of Kenya called for the suspension of the new rates, four months after the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) acceded to the new rates after a three year court battle.
