OCS arrested for attending CS Murkomen's forum while drunk released

The Officer Commanding Station (OCS) at Ntimaru Police
Station, who was arrested for attending the Jukwaa la Usalama forum in
Migori while drunk, has been released.
The officer, identified as
Daniel Muchiri, arrived at the security engagement forum led by Interior CS
Kipchumba Murkomen while intoxicated, prompting his arrest and several hours of
detention.
According to a police report, he
was subjected to a breathalyzer test before being referred to Migori Referral
Hospital for further examinations.
Suna East Sub-County Police
Commander Samwel Boit confirmed that the officer was booked at Suna East Police
Station and later released pending disciplinary action.
Boit added that appropriate
disciplinary measures will be taken once investigations are concluded.
