One arrested as police nab 80 bags of expired fertilizer in Nakuru

Police have seized 80 bags of expired fertilizer in Nakuru.

According to a police report on the incident, the substandard fertilizer was being transported from Fertiplant East Africa Limited in Nakuru in a canter lorry of registration number KCP 276X.

The officers, who were acting on intelligence, rushed to the scene and found the lorry loaded with 80 bags of single Superphosphate fertilizer (SSP) with the expiry date indicated as March 2018.
