One dead after lorry veered off road in Homa Bay

One person has died and eight others injured in a road accident near Kendu Bay Town in Homa Bay County.
The 23-year-old man, according to police, died when he was being rushed to the hospital after a lorry transporting catering equipment overturned on Thursday morning.
Rachuonyo North Sub County police commander Lydia Parteiyie says the lorry was overspending before it lost control and veered off the road.
The eight were rushed to Kendu Bay sub-county hospital.
