One dead, scores injured after Uganda-bound bus overturns on Waiyaki Way

A pedestrian was killed and two others were seriously injured after a bus en route to Uganda lost control and crashed into them on a long Waiyaki way in Nairobi this morning.
The 52 people on board the Uganda-bound PCEA Mathare church were seriously injured when the bus overturned.
According to Nairobi County Police Commander Adamson Bungei, passengers have been evacuated and transported to various hospitals for treatment.
The two pedestrians who were hit alongside the deceased are in critical condition.
The driver is among those who have been seriously injured and is receiving treatment.
The body of the deceased has been moved to the City mortuary even as the authorities advance probe into the accident.
