One killed as matatu rams into bakery

One person died after a 14-seater matatu lost control and rammed into a bakery along Moi Avenue, Nairobi.

The matatu, belonging to St. Mary’s Sacco, was heading to the Railways matatu terminus when it lost control and rammed into the bakery.

A watchman manning the ‘Bakers’s Inn’ entrance was killed on the spot while several others were injured in the incident.

Several passengers are also reported to have been wounded.
