Over 100 children sleep in cold at musical festival

More than 100 children were forced to sleep out in the cold on Thursday at Taita Taveta University College after attending The Kenya Schools and Colleges Music Festival.

The pupils could not find a place as secondary school students occupied a room that had been set aside for them.

Speaking to Citizen, one of the teachers who sought anonymity said that the organizers of the event failed to facilitate their travel back home on Thursday.

The affected pupils comprise ten primary schools from Kwale County aged between nine and 13 years.
