Over 1000 Suspected Aliens Arrested

The operation was executed a few hours after Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph ole Lenku ordered all refugees residing outside Dadaab and Kakuma camps to return there immediately.

Nairobi Deputy Police Commissioner Moses Ombati confirmed that the operation comes in the face of rising insecurity.

This comes even as 500 police officers are said to have been deployed to Nairobi and Mombasa counties to deal with heightened terror threats.
