Migori Woman Rep Pamela Odhiambo accuses ODM chair John Mbadi of discrimination
Migori County Woman Representative Pamela Odhiambo has accused ODM
chairman John Mbadi of fuelling discrimination in the party.
According to
Odhiambo, Mbadi has been making remarks which allegedly depict that he values
some party members more than others.
The ODM party
leader, Odhiambo added, must demonstrate good leadership in the party by
accommodating all leaders within it; even those belonging to other parties
under the Azimio la Umoja umbrella.
The Migori county
woman representative went on to say that ODM leader Raila Odinga will need
every vote if he is to clinch the presidency as such all leaders within the
party should drum up support for his presidential bid.
Odhiambo is among
several Migori County gubernatorial aspirants who are going to battle it out
for an ODM party ticket during the party primaries slated for next month.
Odhiambo’s
sentiments come just a few days after Mbadi, during a campaign in Rongo last
week, asked the people of Migori not to vote for Jubilee and other parties’
candidates.
According to Mbadi, Migori is an ODM stronghold and therefore residents should only vote for the party’s candidates at the August polls.
