Parliament on School Fees

Members of the national assembly now want the ministry of education to implement the Kilemi Mwiria task force report which recommends the lowering of secondary school fees. The national assembly which adjourned its sittings this afternoon to discuss the high school fees and levies charged by some public institutions also wants Education Cabinet Secretary Joseph Kaimenyi to take disciplinary action against school heads who have subjected parents to suffering by charging high school fees.
