Pathologist Rules Out Suicide In Samuel Wanjiru’s Case

While on a witness stand, former chief government pathologist Moses Njue ruled out suicide as the cause of death further claiming that a third party was involved.

Njue told the court that according to his findings the athlete was hit with a blunt object on the head.

Initial police investigation reports stated that Wanjiru died of injuries sustained from a fall from his balcony.

Njue however claims that the minimal fatal falling distance would have been 16 feet further indicating that the height from which Mr Wanjiru fell was not enough scientifically to generate the momentum to kill him

Three different postmortems conducted after the athletes’ death in May 2011 came up with three different results.

This then prompted the government to order for an inquest in search of the truth.
