Police launch manhunt for men who allegedly raped blind man

Police in Embu North Sub County have launched a manhunt for four men who allegedly attacked and raped a blind 57-year-old man at Ruguru Village.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Manyatta Assistant County Commissioner Evans Otieno said the man was attacked and dragged into a bush where he was raped by the four suspects on Tuesday morning.

According to Otieno, the man was headed home at the time of the attack that left him injured.

“The old man was able to recognise one of the men by his voice and has given the name to the police,” he said.

Otieno added that the man has been taken to the hospital as police launch investigations into the incident.
