Police officer stabbed to death during bar fight in Embakasi

A police officer was early Saturday morning stabbed during a violent confrontation at the parking lot of Blackwood Bar and Restaurant in Embakasi, Nairobi.

A police report seen by Citizen Digital indicated that the said establishment was hosting Kalenjin Night when commotion ensued at dawn.

The manager of the bar then issued a distress call and, when police officers arrived at the scene, they found that a man - whom they later identified as a fellow cop - had been killed.

“Officers rushed to the scene and indeed found one male adult lying dead on the pool of blood with a deep cut on the right side of the neck at the parking yard. Upon searching, they noticed that the deceased is a male adult Administration Police officer attached to Jogoo House,” read the report.

The body of the deceased has since been transferred to the Mama Lucy Hospital mortuary awaiting post-mortem.
