Police probe death of Gatundu woman who was stabbed, breast chopped

Police in Gatundu South constituency, Kiambu County have launched an investigation into the murder of a 55-year-old woman from the village of Gwa Kahata, who was stabbed twice in the neck and her left breast cut off. 

The suspect is said to have attacked the woman on Sunday while leaving church, before killing her.

Confirming the incident, Gatundu South police commander Jonathan Koech has said that no suspect has been arrested and the intention of the murder has not yet been established. 

The woman is said to have been living with her elderly mother.

The victim's body has been taken to Gatundu hospital mortuary.
