Police search for man who speared another to death in Muhoroni

Joseph Otieno Achero, 40, was attacked under unclear circumstances near his home at 4 am and suffered deep stab wounds.

He was rushed by local villagers to St Plister health centre where he succumbed to his injuries upon arrival.

Police managed to recover the murder weapon at the scene and it has been kept as an exhibit.

The manhunt for the suspects who have been identified is on amidst tension in the village with others attempting to avenge the deceased’s killing.

The body was taken to Othoo hospital mortuary and police began a probe into the murder.
