Police searching for woman who stabbed, killed man

Police in Isiolo are looking for a 20-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed a 30-year-old man at Game area.

The victim, Osman Abdilahi, died Friday night, while receiving treatment at Isiolo District Hospital.

Confirming the incident, Isiolo Central Deputy Commissioner Otieno Okich said that the deceased had gone to intervene in a fight between the suspect and her husband when the incident occurred.

Okich further says angry neighbours burnt down the suspect’s house after she fled from the scene of the incident. The police boss promised that once apprehended, the  woman will be charged in court.

Last week, police launched a manhunt for a 20-year-old man who allegedly killed his mother in Nzaui area, Makueni County.

Wolwa Chief, Lazarus Ngungu, says the boy got home and said that he wanted to murder someone before picking a log and hitting his mother on the head, killing her on the spot.

The man injured three other family members among them his sister, who is nursing serious injuries at Makindu Hospital.
