Police yet to find people who planted explosive at Kirinyaga church
Kirinyaga County commissioner Erastus Ekidor has urged Kirinyaga residents to help security team with information that will help them nab terror groups in the area.
This follows last Sunday’s incident at Kirinyaga Catholic Church where an explosive device was found planted near the church door by unknown people.
Speaking on Thursday during a security meeting attended by chiefs, assistant chiefs, and deputy commissioners, Ekidor disclosed that no suspect had been arrested in last Sunday’s incident, adding that police are still investigating the matter.
During the meeting, 27 chiefs and their assistants were issued with government motorcycles to ease their movement around the area.
