Popular radio presenter Njogu wa Njoroge joins UDA
Deputy President William Ruto officially welcomes Kameme FM presenter Njogu wa Njoroge into UDA on Friday.

Popular Kameme FM presenter Njogu wa Njoroge has
officially joined Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance
(UDA) party.
Ruto personally welcomed Njoroge, who is eyeing Njoro’s
parliamentary seat at the August polls, into UDA’s fold on Thursday following a
meeting at the DP’s official residence in Karen.
The DP’s allies have since taken to social media to
congratulate Njoroge for his move and venture into politics.
"Njogu Wa Njoroge, welcome to The Hustler
Nation. May your dream to join Parliament come true," DP Ruto's digital
strategist Dennis Itumbi also said on Twitter.
Njoroge started his media journey as a sports
presenter at KBC in the 2000s before joining Kameme FM and later Inooro Fm in
2006. He would rejoin Kameme FM a few years later before shifting to Gukena FM
in 2014. He later left the Radio Africa group station in 2019 for Kameme
FM and TV station.
He joins other notable media personalities such as
Tony Kwalanda, Felix Odiwour popularly known as Jalan’go, Manda Shivanga, Alex
Mwakideu and Mwanaisha Chidzuga who have all expressed interest in contesting
for elected positions at the August General Election.
