Power supply restored in ‘most areas’ of Kenya
Kenya Power says it has managed to restore power supply in most parts of the country following outage witnessed for the better part of Saturday.
KPLC, in a statement released in the afternoon, said among the areas where power supply had been restored include major cities and towns such as Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret and Nakuru.
The outage was also fixed in Naivasha, Kisii, Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, Thika, Garissa, Nyeri and Kericho.
“However, the Coastal cities of Malindi and Lamu remain without electricity. Our technical teams are making every effort to restore normalcy as soon as possible,” read the statement.
