The reshuffle, announced on Thursday by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, also saw Salim Mvurya moved from the Investments, Trade and Industry Ministry to head the Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports Ministry, filling the vacancy left by Murkomen's departure.
In a further adjustment, former Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has been nominated to take over the Trade Ministry, previously held by Mvurya.
