In an exclusive interview with Citizen Digital, Wajackoyah said by legalising bhang, Kenya will be able to get another source of income tp offset its ever ballooning debts.
"Kenya is in debt, and Kenya borrows Ksh 2B everyday, and it keeps on borrowing and borrowing. I would like to pay off the Chinese debt and the shortest way to pay it is by legalising and growing Marijuana for commercial and medicinal purposes," Wajackoyah said.
Interestingly, the lawyer does not smoke bhang but promises to do so once it is legalised under his leadership.
Wajackoyah also blasted Kenyan politicians for using the youth to steal public resources, disappear for five years and resurface to seek for votes using the stolen money.
He says under his leadership, there will be zero tolerance to corruption, and he will suspend the constitution for six months to be able to find out what is needed to be removed.
"It will be up to Kenyans to look at it and say what they want us to have," he added.
Wajackoyah says he does not really enjoy Kenyan music, but he recognizes musicians like Bahati and others. His favourite music is Rhumba and generally Zaire music.
The lawyer who has represented Koffi Olomide says he spends most of his leisure time reading books and expanding his knowledge.
He has 14 degrees and diplomas to his name.
"I read a lot. I just finished another post-graduate degree, I am doing my second PhD from the University of Nairobi, I have done a lot of things within a very short time," Wajackoyah says.
His love for books came as a result of his time as a street urchin in Nairobi, and as a grave digger and night guard in England.
He decided to seek knowledge to unchain himself from poverty and depression, ending up as an acclaimed barrister.
Wajackoyah's message to the Kenyan youth ahead of the election is that they should arm themselves with voters cards and vote him as their president.
Wajackoyah is 62 and seeks to take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta, but that means beating heavyweights like Raila Odinga and William Ruto.
