In a statement issued in February 2026, the mobile gaming title said the tournament will provide a structured pathway for teams that have been grinding Ranked Classic Mode and scrimming, with each participating country tournament featuring a $3,000 prize pool.
Top-performing squads will then progress to the PMGO Africa Regional Finals to battle for a share of the $10,000 prize pool.
PUBG MOBILE said the initiative is aimed at elevating Kenya’s esports scene by offering local talent a platform to gain continental exposure as mobile gaming continues to grow rapidly in the country.
To participate, Kenyan players must have reached Platinum tier or above in Ranked Classic Mode (current or previous season) and register as a four-player team, with an optional substitute allowed.
Organisers noted that teams must complete registration before the deadline, warning that incomplete teams will be automatically disqualified once the registration period closes.
Interested teams can register via the official Road to PMGO page by selecting their region — which cannot be changed once confirmed — creating a team name and motto, inviting at least four players and completing the security verification process.
PUBG MOBILE added that every successfully registered team will automatically qualify for a lucky draw incentive, while tournament updates will be shared on PUBG MOBILE Africa’s TikTok page.
