Raila concludes Western Kenya tour, calls for huge voter turn-out in August

ODM leader Raila Odinga concluded his Western Kenya campaigns on Monday with a call on supporters to turn up in large numbers for the August 9th vote.

 Addressing rallies in Shinyalu, Malava and Likuyani, Odinga thanked the Western region for supporting his presidential bid since 2007, adding that he will repay their faith in him if elected president in August.

“You have supported me since 2007, I want to thank you very much,” said Odinga.

Odinga promised to deliver on his promises to the region, if elected President in August, adding that he would mount an intensive war against corruption.

Western Kenya leaders assured Odinga of continued intensive campaigns ahead of the August polls.
