Raila Odinga visits former president Moi at Kabarak

Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Sunday visited ex-president Daniel Arap Moi at his Kabarak home.
The former Prime Minister went to condole with the retired Head of State following the recent passing of his son Jonathan Toroitich Moi.
He was received by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and was flanked by East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP Oburu Odinga and Tiaty MP William Kamket.
“We continue to wish strength to the former President and his family. May God grant them peace during this trying time,” said Mr. Odinga.
According to the Moi family’s Press Secretary Lee Njiru, the safari rally enthusiast succumbed to pancreatic cancer at a hospital in Nakuru on April 19, 2019.
He was laid to rest at his Kabimoi home in Baringo County on April 27.
