Raila Odinga’s longtime bodyguard dies at a Nairobi hospital

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's long-serving bodyguard and personal aide George Oduor has passed on at the Nairobi West Hospital.

The deceased has been Mr. Odinga's private bodyguard for a period spanning over three decades.

A source close to the family who sought an anonymity disclosed to Citizen Digital that Odiwuor has been unwell and was receiving treatment at the facility.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party’s Director of Communications Philip Etale, taking to his Facebook page, mourned the departed soul as a friend who stood by him at all costs.
