The opposition coalition-CORD has laid down elaborate programmes to mobilise its supporters to register as voters in their numbers.

CORD leader Raila Odinga said the youth in the opposition strongholds could play a pivotal role in ending the jubilee coalition’s reign, but can only do so, if they registered as voters and turned up to vote in next year’s polls.

As Francis Gachuri reports from Bondo, governors and members of parliament elected on the CORD ticket have been directed to spearhead and facilitate the voter registration mobilisation exercise.
