Renowned Kenyan Actor Charles Ouda to be cremated on Thursday

Renowned Kenyan actor Charles Ouda is set to be cremated on Thursday, February 15, 2024, his family has announced.

His family said that there will be a fundraiser on Tuesday, February 13 at 5:30 pm at the Higher Trinity room at All Saints Cathedral.

The procession will then leave Chiromo Funeral Home on Wednesday for an overnight vigil.

A church service will then be held at the All Saints Cathedral on Thursday at 10 am, followed by last rites at Kariokor for the immediate family.

Charles Ouda, otherwise known as Charli, died on February 3 at the age of 38.

The circumstances surrounding his death have remained unclear, but his family said more information would be provided in due course.

Ouda appeared on several TV shows, including Know Zone, Makutano Junction, Changing Times, Count it Out, and The First Grader.

He was a gifted scriptwriter, event manager, show host, and voice-over artist.

He was also the co-host of the 'Undiscovered podcast', which he ran alongside his fiancé, Ciru Muriuki.
