Residents Plant Bananas To Protest Neglected Kiambu County Road

Sometimes, it requires an unusual deed to provoke authorities into action. And this logic seems to be guiding residents of Kanjai, Kiambu County who have planted bananas in the middle of the Ruiru – Kwamaiko – Githunguri road. The residents argue that the dilapidated road is more of a farm than a road and they would rather make the most of the space while also shaming the government into repairing the road.
