Detectives arrest Ruth Ouma, wife of notorious drug trafficker Tom Ouma in Roysambu
DCI Detectives from the Transnational Organized Crime Unit have arrested Ruth Ouma, the wife to notorious trafficker Tom Ouma.
Ms Ouma was arrested in Roysambu, Nairobi following a warrant of arrest issued by the JKIA lawcourts Chief Magistrate.
The suspect has been on the run since the arrest of her husband.
The arrest is connected with the impounding of 368.5 kilograms of bhang worth at least Ksh.11M on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway in early August.

Detectives had nabbed a Motor Vehicle Reg. No. KCQ 741V on August 14 and then proceeded to arrest Mr Ouma at his Utawala hideout the following day.
Detectives say the suspect who is in police custody is believed to sponsor gangs in Korogocho, Huruma and Dandora to protect his trafficking business.
Two other suspects; Paul Ochieng and Stephen Wandera were also arrested during the stint operation.
