School Closed After 3 Students Injured By H/M

This follows an incident in which three students were injured after they were allegedly caned by their headteacher

Parents and sponsors of the school ordered for the immediate closure of the school following the incident

The injured students are still nursing injuries in hospital

The sponsors of the school as well as parents ordered the closure of the school terming it inhuman

The 3 form four students were beaten by the school headteacher after they allegedly visited their boyfriends on the pretext that they had gone to shave their hair

The school headteacher accused the girls of using the permission to go and charge their phones in order to call their friends

The students however denied the claims saying they were forced to look for a barber elsewhere due to lack of electricity

The students are being treated at Bungoma Referral Hospital suffering from severe body tissue injuries.

The Bungoma human rights groups are now demanding the arrest of the school principal because corporal punishment was abolished in schools by the government.
