Senate Receives MCA’s Resolution To Impeach Wambora

The three judges who were set to hear a petition lodged by embattled Martin Wambora to block his removal as Embu county governor have disqualified themselves from the case on grounds that they are the same ones who arbitrated in Wambora’s similar case just a month ago. This as senate speaker Ekwe Ethuro said the senate will not be influenced by anything else but law in deciding the fate of Wambora. And as Hussein Mohamed reports Ethuro has cautioned county assemblies against temptations to abuse the impeachment provision.
