Seven Dead, Four Injured in Eldoret Accident

The matatu was reportedly heading to Eldoret from Kakamega when it collided head-on with a trailer headed in the opposite direction.

Confirming the incident, Lugari OCPD Bernard Macharia said the matatu had overloaded when the accident occurred.

Macharia stated that the injured have been rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in critical condition.
