Shouting ‘bado mapambano’ lands Nairobi man in court

A man was on Monday arraigned in a Nairobi court for allegedly shouting as he sang ‘bado mapambano’ (struggle continues) at another person.

Appearing in a Nairobi court, Kepha Ojuka was charged with causing disturbance in a manner likely to cause breach of peace by shouting at one Ahmed Haji Ibrahim while singing at Lower Hill, Nairobi on July 11.

He denied the charges before Senior Resident Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot.

The suspect, who was arrested on Thursday, was released on a Ksh.5,000 personal bond.

The case was set for hearing on August 13.
