According to court documents obtained by Citizen.Digital on Wednesday, Githii went to an unknown location within Nairobi in October 2015 and obtained a forged report signed by a doctor named Mucheru Wang'ombe.
Githii was then charged with a second count in November 2020, with intent to defraud for knowingly uttering the forged medical report he obtained from Dr. Wang'ombe.
He was later arrested on November 2, 2022, and appeared in Milimani court, where he pleaded not guilty. He has been released on a Ksh.50,000 cash bail.
Mr Kamotho died on December 6, 2014 leaving behind his widow Eunice Wambui Kamotho and four children; Githii, Ms Nyokabi, James Mwai and David Waweru.
Reports indicate that Mrs Kamotho sought letters to administer the estate, but her children filed objections against her.
Githii and Mwai are said to want their mother to be the administrator, but Nyokabi and Waweru have objected, claiming that they want independent administrators to help them in the succession case.
The case has been pending in court since 2017.
