Suspected drug peddler arrested, heroin confiscated in Mombasa
Abdalla Said Omar was arrested when the officers raided his rented residence.

Directorate of Criminal investigation (DCI) detectives from the Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU) have arrested a 45-year old man for being in possession of heroin in Bakarani, Kisauni Sub-County, Mombasa County.
DCI said on Sunday that Abdalla Said Omar was arrested when
the officers raided his rented residence, following a tip-off.
During the raid the officers discovered 300 grams of heroin
concealed in red and green carrier bags, tightly wrapped in clear cellotape, two
digital weighing scales believed to have been used in the illegal trade.
Omar remains in custody in Mjambere Police Station pending arraignment.
