Synovate Poll on the Cost Of Living Poll

The latest opinion poll by Ipsos Synovate shows that the prevailing high cost of living is the issue that worries Kenyans the most, close to one year since the Jubilee government took office. Unemployment and corruption come second and third on the list of problems that are besetting the country. This as the energy regulatory commission announced, for the third consecutive time this year, a new round of increases in the price of super petrol and kerosene. But as Patrick Igunza reports, the government is upbeat that the cost of electricity will come down drastically, starting July this year.
