Tension is high in Kamagut area, Uasin Gishu County after bodies of three middle-aged men were found at the Moi Barracks Eldoret as one other succumbs on the way to hospital.

The four casualties are reported to have trespassed into Ngano maize farm owned by KDF last night to collect maize remains after harvesting. They were allegedly cornered by the KDF officers, beating them to dead.

The bodies were found by area residents at a deep dug furrow at the boundary of the KDF land. Victims had injuries on their back sides and head with bruises all over their bodies.

Police from Kamagut police post have so far managed to take one of the bodies to MTRH morgue as the residents from Kiplombe side of the land have blocked them from collecting the two other bodies.

The residents are furious over what they termed as injustice by the military men. They said the military should have arrested the suspects rather than killing them, noting many of the young people from the area have suffered in the hands of the officers.

Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr. Eddyson Nyale is set to address the area residents.
