The man who ate his way to a State commendation trolled

Githeri Man who now goes by HSC. Martin Kimotho has raised Kenyans’ ire after receiving a Head of State Commendation during the 54th Jamhuri Day celebrations.

Githeri Man’s effortless walk to stardom and honorary award is attributed to him catering for his hunger pangs by showing up to vote while eating Githeri from a polythene bag.

His humble hustle of  sweeping streets and collecting garbage was instantly replaced by endorsements from high end firms to getting lavish gifts like Samsung Galaxy 8, suits and a trip.

The overnight internet sensation caught  the attention of international news cables and somehow managed to reduce anxiety in the electioneering period for Kenyans through hilarious memes.

However Kenyans online do not agree with Githeri Man being awarded believing that there were more deserving people.
