Three killed in Kericho road accident

Three people were killed on Friday morning in a grisly road accident involving two vehicles in Kericho County.
While the exact details of the incident remain unclear, police reports indicate that a Mercedes Benz trailer Reg. 675V/SSD669AA ferrying LPG gas and a Nissan Double Cabin Reg. No. GKB 450D, collided head-on while travelling in opposite directions at around 6 am.
The collision resulted in the immediate deaths of the Nissan's three occupants, a woman and two men.
The trailer's driver survived and was rushed to Fortenan Sub-county Hospital for treatment.
The bodies of the deceased persons have since been moved to St. Vincent Hospital Mortuary Muhoroni for storage pending identification and postmortem.
