Three killed, several injured in Yaya–Kawangware road crash

The crash occurred at Bangladesh area, near the Kawangware–Yaya route, leaving several passengers injured.

 According to police, the bus rammed into the lorry from behind, resulting in multiple casualties.

Officers at Kilimani Police Station, where the incident was reported, said the lorry had been stationary on that section of the road since midday.

 Preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle had no warning signs or reflectors in place to alert oncoming motorists, a factor police believe contributed to the accident.

Several injured passengers were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment, while three fatalities were confirmed at the scene.

Police have launched investigations to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crash and to determine responsibility as they urged motorists to exercise caution, particularly around stalled vehicles on busy roads.
