Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket and West Pokot Deputy Governor Robert Komolle have been questioned by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Nakuru on allegations of incitement to violence.

Kamket was questioned for two hours before he was set free but is set to appear before the criminal investigators in two weeks’ time.

West Pokot DG Komolle is still being questioned by the investigators.

The two were summoned by the regional DCI boss Charles Kanyuira to share details related to investigations on the banditry attacks in the Rift Valley region.

This is however not MP Kamket’s first brush with the law as last year he was also summoned by the Rift Valley DCI chief, again over allegations of inciting violence.
