Two arrested ferrying bhang worth millions to Nairobi

Two suspected drug traffickers were arrested on Wednesday ferrying bhang worth millions of shillings to Nairobi from Namanga.

The two identified as Samuel Kimani Macharia and Peter Mwangi Kuria were nabbed by DCI Transnational Organized Crime Unit detectives.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the duo is set to be arraigned on Thursday on charges of trafficking in narcotic drugs contrary to the law.

Meanwhile, the vehicle they were using to ferry the drugs was also confiscated.
