Two arrested transporting 600 bags of uncustomed sorghum
Two suspects were on Wednesday arrested after they were found transporting over 600 sacks of uncustomed sorghum.
The two; Abdullahi Sheikh Hassan and 53-year-old Dahabo Abdi Ali, were intercepted at Kanyonyo area, Kitui County, by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives manning the Garissa-Thika highway.
The trailer in which the suspects were transporting the illegally imported goods was also seized.
The two are presently being held as investigations continue.
