Two dead, 6 injured after matatu rams building in Emuhaya

A woman and a child died while six others were seriously injured after a 14 seater matatu lost control and rammed into a building on the Kima-Emusutswe road in Luanda.

The matatu, which was reported to have been traveling from Kima headed to Eldoret is said to have suffered a tyre burst before it lost control and rammed a building opposite the Luanda Sub-County commissioner’s headquarters.

A woman and a boy died on the spot while the injured were rushed to the Vihiga County referral hospital. Dr. Joel Edalia Emuhaya confirmed the six are undergoing treatment.
