Two killed, 8 injured in Salgaa accident

Two people have died, and eight others seriously injured
after a road accident in Sobea area, Salgaa.
The accident that occurred on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on
Monday night involved a 14-seater matatu from Nanaki Sacco that was heading to
Nakuru, a trailer and a probox.
According to eye witnesses, the head-on collision was between
the matatu and a trailer that was avoiding hitting a probox that was overtaking
using the wrong lane.
The
accident occurred two days after five other people lost their lives while eight sustained serious
injuries following a road accident along the Eldoret-Nakuru Highway on Saturday
morning.
The
3:30 am incident occurred after a 14-seater matatu, en route to Nakuru from
Eldoret, collided head-on with a truck at Migaa, Nakuru County.
