Police in Nairobi have arrested two men for trafficking 17 bales of bhang weighing 34 kilograms with an approximate street value of Ksh.990,000.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), in a statement released on Wednesday, said Clinton Ndede and Kelvin Sibukhu were nabbed at a bus station in Nairobi CBD en route to Kamulu from Budalangi.

“The two were nabbed moments after disembarking from a Guardian bus from Budalangi, Busia County just before they boarded a Super Metro shuttle en route to Kamulu where they reside,” stated the DCI.

Detectives said the duo was apprehended after anti-narcotics officers searched their luggage.
