Two die after Mombasa Road accident

Two people died this morning at Makueni General Hospital following a grisly road accident last night.

The accident took place after a motorbike they were travelling in rammed into a pickup at Muani near Emali Town, Makueni County along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

Residents have complained that despite the road being murramed, it is narrow and riddled with potholes making it dangerous to users.

They are now calling on the county government to renovate the road, which they say has caused many accidents in the area.
