Two Kenyans were Tuesday evening arrested with fake money amounting to approximately Ksh.750 million at an apartment in Nairobi’s Kilimani area.

The two suspects; Samuel Maina and Boniface Mungai, were caught with the money in US dollars, Euros and Kenyan currency notes packed in metal boxes.

According to police, the assortment of fake money included US Dollars of 100 bills amounting to $6,820,000, fake Euros of 100 bills totaling to 490,000 Euros and fake 1000 Kenya shillings notes amounting to Ksh.6.4 million.
