Vetting of nominated Solicitor General Shadrack Mose set for Thursday

The National Assembly has set an official date for the vetting of Solicitor General nominee Shadrack Mose.

The former Kitutu Masaba MP was summoned to appear before the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs on Thursday ,February 23 according to a gazette notice published on Thursday

The vetting, which will be held at the Mini Chambers of the County Hall in Parliament, will commence at 10:00 am.

Mose has been advised to present his certificates an the vetting day including an Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) certificate, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), and Higher Education Loans Board.

He will also need to have a clearance from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and one from the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).

Mose was appointed to the position by President William Ruto on Sunday through a letter addressed to the National Assembly.

Should he get approval from the National Assembly, he will take over from Ken Ogeto who also hails from Nyamira County.
